PK Supply List 2026-2027

Beginning of School Year

We would like to welcome you and your child to PK at P.S. 55 Q. Please ensure that your child has all the listed items to begin the 2026-2027 school year. Please place the items in a bag with your child’s name on it.

The first day of school is Thursday, September 10, 2026.

Reminders:

1. Supply drop-off is tentatively scheduled to occur on Wednesday September 9, 2026 from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. It is asked that all supplies be dropped off on that day.

2. Please send in a change of clothing in a plastic bag (gallon sized ziplock bag) containing a change of clothes (underwear, socks, long pants, and shirt).

3. Students in Pre-Kindergarten are dismissed from the classroom, which can be accessed through the main entrance. You must bring an I.D card and a pick-up card.

Supply List:

-1 child-size backpack without wheels

-4 glue sticks

-1 package of jumbo pencils (Ticonderoga Brand)

-5 bottles of liquid soap (not hand sanitizer)

-4 containers of baby wipes

-2 plastic two-pocket folders

-3 boxes of tissues

-Change of clothes (underwear, shirt, socks, & pants
LABELED with your child's first and last name)

-5 large Clorox disinfecting wipes

-1 box Mr. Clean eraser/sponge

-2 bottles of liquid disinfecting spray cleaner (Fantastic, Clorox, Lysol)

-3 rolls of Paper Towels

-4 boxes of gallon-size Ziploc bags

-1 pack of white copy paper (8 1/2 by 11)

-1 box of sandwich bags

-1 pad of “watercolor” paper

-1 set of watercolor paints

-1 box of jumbo Crayons

-Nap mat (see sample picture below)
