1st Grade Supply List 2026-2027

Beginning of School Year

We would like to welcome you and your child to 1st Grade at P.S. 55 Q. Please ensure that your child has all the listed items to begin the 2026-2027 school year. Please place the items in a bag with your child’s name on it.

The first day of school is Thursday, September 10, 2026.

Reminders:

Supplies will not be shared.
Please make sure all items are clearly labeled with your child’s first and last name.
Supply drop-off is tentatively scheduled to occur on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. It is asked that all supplies be dropped off on that day.

Supply List:

-2 boxes of crayons (24 count)

-1 box of markers

-4 packs #2 Ticonderoga pencils (SHARPENED)

-1 Hard pencil case

-4 erasers

-1 pack of Lysol or Clorox wipes

-1 bottle of hand soap

-5 durable PLASTIC solid-colored two-pocket folders (Blue, Red, Green, Purple, and Yellow)

-1 Fun Folder - any character, design, or color of your choice

IMPORTANT: PLEASE LABEL ALL SUPPLIES WITH YOUR CHILD'S FIRST AND LAST NAME.

We appreciate your cooperation in obtaining these supplies. Please note that additional supplies may be requested throughout the year. We look forward to working together with you and your child to make the coming school year a successful one.

-2 boxes tissues

-4 glue sticks

-1 pair of over-the-ear headphones that plug into the device, not Bluetooth (see sample pic below)

-1 pair of safety scissors

-2 rolls of paper towels

-1 pack of dry-erase markers (5 total markers)

-1 box of Gallon-sized Ziploc bags

-1 box of small Ziploc bags (quart-sized)

-1 pack of white copy paper (8 1/2 x 11)
