Kindergarten Supply List 2026-2027

Beginning of School Year

We would like to welcome you and your child to Kindergarten at P.S. 55 Q. Please ensure that your child has all the listed items to begin the 2026-2027 school year. Please place the items in a bag with your child’s name on it.

The first day of school is Thursday, September 10, 2026.

Reminders:

1. Supplies will not be shared.

2. Please make sure all items are clearly labeled with your child’s first and last name.

3. Supply drop-off is tentatively scheduled to occur on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. It is asked that all supplies be dropped off on that day.

Supply List:

-2 boxes of crayons (24 count)

-1 box of markers

-4 packs of #2 Ticonderoga pencils (SHARPENED)

-1 hard pencil case

-4 erasers

-1 pack of disinfecting wipes (Clorox or Lysol)

-1 bottle of hand soap

-2 bottles of anti-bacterial hand sanitizer

-5 durable PLASTIC solid-colored two-pocket folders
(Blue, Red, Green, Purple and Yellow)

-1 Fun Folder - any character, design, or color of your choice

IMPORTANT: PLEASE LABEL ALL SUPPLIES WITH YOUR CHILD'S FIRST AND LAST NAME.

We appreciate your cooperation in obtaining these supplies. Please note that additional supplies may be requested throughout the year. We look forward to working together with you and your child to make the coming school year a successful one.

-2 boxes of tissues

-4 glue sticks

-1 pair of over-the-ear headphones that plug into the device, not Bluetooth (see sample pic below)

-2 rolls of paper towels

-1 pack of dry-erase markers (5 total markers)

-1 box of gallon-sized Ziploc bags

-1 box of small Ziploc bags (quart-sized)

-1 pack of white copy paper (8 1/2 x 11)
