1st Grade Supply List 2025-2026
We would like to welcome you and your child to 1st Grade at P.S. 55 Q. Please ensure that your child has all the listed items to begin the 2025-2026 school year. Please place the items in a bag with your child’s name on it. The first day of school is Thursday, September 4, 2025.
Reminders:
1. Supplies will not be shared.
2. Please make sure all items are clearly labeled with your child’s first and last name.
3. Supply drop-off is tentatively scheduled to occur on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. It is asked that all supplies be dropped off at this time.
Supply List:
-2 boxes of crayons (24 count)
-1 box of markers
-3 packs #2 pencils SHARPENED
-1 Hard pencil case
-4 erasers
-1 pack of Lysol or Clorox wipes
-1 bottle of hand soap
-4 Plastic solid-colored two-pocket folders (Blue, Red, Green, and Yellow)
-2 boxes tissues
-8 glue sticks
IMPORTANT: PLEASE LABEL ALL SUPPLIES WITH YOUR CHILD'S FIRST AND LAST NAME.
We appreciate your cooperation in obtaining these supplies. Please note that additional supplies may be requested throughout the year. We look forward to working together with you and your child to make the coming school year a successful one.
-2 composition notebooks with primary lines (see sample pic below)
-1 pair of over-the-ear headphones that plug into the device, not Bluetooth (see sample pic below)
-1 pair of safety scissors
-2 rolls of paper towels
-1 pack of dry-erase markers (5 total markers)
-1 box of Gallon-sized Ziploc bags
-1 box of small Ziploc bags (quart-sized)
** Optional: 1 pack of white drawing or copy paper
