2nd Grade Supply List 2025-2026
We would like to welcome you and your child to 2nd Grade at P.S. 55 Q. Please ensure that your child has all the listed items to begin the 2025-2026 school year. Please place the items in a bag with your child’s name on it. The first day of school is Thursday, September 4, 2025.
Reminders:
1. Supplies will not be shared.
2. Please make sure all items are clearly labeled with your child’s first and last name.
3. Supply drop-off is tentatively scheduled to occur on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. It is asked that all supplies be dropped off at this time.
Supply List:
-6 plastic solid-colored two-pocket folders (Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, and Orange)
-2 boxes of tissues
-1 bottle of hand sanitizer
-4 packs #2 sharpened pencils
-4 erasers
-1- 12” ruler with inches and centimeters
-1 primary lined notebook: full page/no white space (see sample picture below)
-4 regular marble composition notebook
-1 box of dry-erase markers
IMPORTANT: PLEASE LABEL ALL SUPPLIES WITH YOUR CHILD'S FIRST AND LAST NAME.
We appreciate your cooperation in obtaining these supplies. Please note that additional supplies may be requested throughout the year. We look forward to working together with you and your child to make the coming school year a successful one.
-1 box of Crayola 24-count crayons
-4 glue sticks
-1 blunt-edge child scissor
-1 package of Post-it notes
-1 pair of over-the-ear headphones that plug into the device, not Bluetooth (see sample picture below)
-1 box of gallon size Ziploc bags
-1 soft pencil case
